Greetings to you and your family.

Church Building Reopening
As numerous cities across the country begin to ease the Covid-19 restrictions, we are putting the first phase of our reopening plan into action.

In this phase:

  • The Church office is now open from Tuesday to Friday.
  • All visits to the church office will be by appointment. To schedule an appointment, please call 773-866-9461 or email
  • The Sunday Services will be streamed from the church starting on Sunday June 14th.
  • The participation in the Sunday Services will be restricted to the officiating ministers and a limited number of personnel from  a few essential ministries.
  • Children’s church will remain closed.
  • All other services will be online.
  • We will be implementing various measures recommended by the Center for Disease Control(CDC), to ensure that the church sanctuary continues to remain a safe and healthy environment.
We will continue to monitor developments in the City’s reopening plans and will adjust our plans to adhere to them as we anticipate our return to in-person services.

Our online services and meetings will continue to hold as follows:

Let us not neglect the bond which connects us:

  • Use technology to stay in touch with friends, family, church members, neighbors.

  • Reach out to the elders among us and in our social circles, who are particularly vulnerable to this virus.

  • Encourage yourself and others.

To stay up to date with the information we are frequently sharing:

  • Register on our Hotline (708-328-3070)

  • Be added to our mailing list by sending an email to

  • Connect with us on our website, facebooktwitter, and instagram

It is important that in these times we continue to faithfully give as we contribute to the support and well-being of our community.  There are a few ways that you can give:

Your contributions, enable us to serve you and our community. We pray that God will bless you as you give in Jesus’ Name.

Be assured that God is not unaware of what it going on. Because He does not change, His thought towards you remain “of good and not of evil” (Jeremiah 29:11).

As you look ahead to the coming days and weeks:

  • Do not fear or panic.

  • Practice social distancing, not isolation.

  • Wash your hands frequently

  • Use hand sanitizer frequently.

  • Cough into your elbow or a tissue.

  • Don’t touch your face.

  • Stay home if you are sick, and seek medical attention.

  • Rely on credible information. Click here to access some of them

  • Do not spread rumors: rumors are reports of uncertain or doubtful truth.

  • Pray (1 Thessalonians 5:16).

  • Share a message of hope and salvation.

  • Look out for others.

  • Stay indoors.

  • Only venture outdoors to visit the grocery store, pharmacy, or gas station, and to take walks outside as long as you follow social distance measures.

  • Stay safe and keep healthy

I pray that God will continue to prosper you and that you will be in good health; even as your soul prospers in Jesus Name. It is my prayer that we will not be victims of this virus in Jesus Name.

May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you His favor and give you His peace (Numbers 6:24-26)

God bless,

Bayo Adewole
