"JHC became my children's church when they moved to Chicago after their university studies around 2003/2004. My whole family eventually moved to Chicago and became members. One word to describe JHC will be "Family". The church has been true and lives up to its slogan. I feel rooted in the church. The church and its leadership have been very supportive of my family, especially when challenges of life happen."

"4 months from now, I will be 20 years in Jesus House Chicago (JHC). I heard about JHC when I was coming to the US from my church in Nigeria (RCCG Maranatha Parish, Gbagada, Lagos) through the Snr. Pastor Yemi Lebi. JHC is a family church and I love that about it. I love when Pastor Bayo is preaching and the atmosphere of the church is so conducive, it makes me feel so blessed and that's why I can't leave JHC no matter what. The JHC slogan impacted me and my family in so many ways because first of all, our lives will never remain the same again. Secondly, we grow with the word of God day by day, and lastly, the blessings of God has never departed from us. We are always being lifted up. I want our visitors to know that JHC is a place to belong, to grow and to become what God has ordained for every one of us."

"I have been at Jesus House for 7 years. I moved to Chicago in 2014 and did a google search for Nigerian churches and I decided to go to the most accessible one closest to me. In addition, I was familiar with Jesus House, having attended Jesus House Baltimore in the past while visiting family.JHC is a blessing! I like the fact that JHC is a place to truly become all that God has called you to be and most people are friendly.What keeps me coming back? I will say the church choir, Tribe of Levi (TOL). I love the TOL, the times we spend together and how we support each other when things are good or difficult.As soon as I joined, I joined various departments, attended so many young adult events and met a lot of people that have been instrumental in my life both within the church and in the marketplace. JHC is truly a place to become, if you get plugged in. Apart from the spiritual aspects, JHC has an amazing network of people in various fields that are willing to help if you ask for help."

"I first visited JHC with friends in 2001 for a few months and then left after moving out of the City. I joined a local Church for some years but later discovered that JHC was where God Himself intended for me to be fellowshipping. I re-joined JHC in 2015 and have been consistent ever since, not minding driving distance to get to the Church location.There are numerous things to love about JHC, a few of which are the welcoming praise environment and the warm worship atmosphere. You are always filled with the joy of the Holy Spirit and never remain the same after any Sunday or weekly session at JHC.The blessings we've experienced at JHC too have been numerous to mention. It was at JHC God blessed us with our last two children and where we purchased our new home, not to mention some few new job offers. We would tell anyone JHC is truly the place to belong, grow and become what God had intended for them to become. That has been our experience and continues to be our experience."

First Sunday (Thanksgiving service) – 10 AM
All other Sundays (Celebration service) – 9 AM

Yes! We love Children! From infants to elementary age, our children’s church team pays attention to the needs of every child that walks through our doors. The goal is to teach the children about Jesus, while having fun. We have created a fun and safe environment for them by implementing our kids’ check-in and check-out system.
